Base for Marble Basin 25cm .This marble fragment was sourced in the Turkish State of Central Anatolia. It has met the Australian Customs Department entry certification standard and is classified as antique.
The piece originates from the old Greek village settlement areas around Isparta Valley. It is in remarkable condition – very heavy, sturdy with a beautiful patina.
Old Greco-Turkish ware is becoming scarce. Like most authentic collectibles, each piece will continue to increase in value. The piece retains all its historical and aesthetic charm. Whilst old pieces are in their original shape, they are not usable and should be utilized as decorative pieces.
