Tile Vintage Glazed Flower Rose Bud Frieze "Old Raj" Style 15x7.5cm. These colourful ceramic tiles were imported into India from various countries (Japan, Belgium, England, etc.) during the old colonial British Raj era. They once adorned domestic furniture, bathrooms and kitchen hutches especially in the old Bungalows. The tiles became fashionable across India during the Late Victorian and Regency Majolica era and were often adopted into the design decoration of wealthy Indian Havelis (Mansions).
